Nancy, a passionate advocate for returning to the table and a known resource on food and wine pairing, inspires food enthusiasts and wine lovers to enrich their lives through her blog deVine Table.
Currently, Nancy works for premium winery, Efestē, located in Washington State’s Woodinville wine country. Additionally, she helps people discover the right wine for their taste, creates and adapts recipes, develops unique tasting events and classes, promotes it all via social media, and loves every minute of it! Previously, she worked at Seattle’s premiere culinary shop Dish it up! selecting wines for cooking classes to pair with food prepared by some of the most celebrated chefs in Seattle including James Beard award winner Jerry Traunfeld, Iron Chef America Season 9 Challenger Wayne Johnson, and renowned restaurateur Ethan Stowell.
Nancy has earned the prestigious designation of Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators as well as a Wine Sales and Marketing Certificate from Northwest Wine Academy. Her blog, deVine Table was named a Foodista Featured Wine Blog. Other ventures include spreading the word about great Washington wines and beers as a contributing writer for Wine and Beer of Washington State, serving as a judge at wine events, evaluating wines in barrel for winemakers, and covering high profile wine events via social media.
